Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Horizon Authority website and services, including accounts at app.horizonauthority.io. Horizon Authority is the trading name of Alex Varnals, a sole trader based in the UK. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Alex trading as Horizon Authority.

1. Accepting these terms

By using the site or the services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.

2. The service

Horizon Authority is a service in which Alex Varnals uses his own system to write and update product pages, articles and emails for client businesses, and to run the Interview Engine. Clients have an account to see, approve and request work. Access is limited and depends on fit and capacity.

3. Your content and facts

You're responsible for the facts and material you give us being accurate and yours to use. Pages are written from those facts, and nothing is published until you or Alex has approved it. Once paid for, the pages and drafts made for your business are yours to use as you like.

4. Using the site

Use the site and your account lawfully. Don't try to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, or get into any part of it, or anyone else's account, without permission.

5. Intellectual property

The site's own content, branding and the Horizon Authority system belong to Horizon Authority unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, redistribute or repurpose them without written permission.

6. Plans and payment

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions, paid by card through Stripe. Each plan includes an allowance of work, counted in page credits: a page uses a credit when it has been built and is ready for your review. Work outside the plan, including Alex's own time on a piece of work, is priced per item and agreed with you before it starts. The price and anything else specific to your work are agreed with you before you start, and that agreement takes precedence over this page where they differ. You can cancel your plan at any time by emailing us. It stops at the end of the month you've already paid for. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any change to your plan's price.

7. No guarantees

Search results depend on many things outside any one system, including the search engines themselves. Pages are written to be accurate, useful and well structured, but no particular ranking, traffic, AI-search citation or revenue is guaranteed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Horizon Authority isn't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site or services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Links to other sites

The site may link to other sites. They have their own terms, and Horizon Authority isn't responsible for their content or practices.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the service changes. Material changes will appear on this page with a new date.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute about them.
